Senior Graphic Artist

Designed and created high end graphics, illustrations and animations from scratch for use in the courtroom to educate judge and jury. Taking complex information and turning it into easy to understand graphics to help "tell the story". Also created in-house marketing presentations, web graphics, and all forms of print collateral for use throughout Paul Weiss. Responsible for the Paul Weiss brand guidelines and oversight.

Project Manager

Animation Technologies, Inc. (ATI), Boston
February 2006 – September 2007 (1 year 8 months)

Established expectations with the client and ATI project personnel, ensuring deliverables are consistently on spec, on time and on budget. Managed multiple projects simultaneously. Project-managed custom designed presentations using effective graphics and interactive multimedia (animation, 3-D animation, video and audio). Developed ideas and themes for courtroom exhibits with top law firms in NYC, Washington, Chicago and Boston. Managed a studio of between seven and ten artists that produced high-end courtroom graphics to educate judge and jury. Responsible for storyboarding and art directing interactive presentations and exhibits using Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint. Attended client meetings with law firms and translated complex information for use by the production team. Responsible for staying within budget, providing weekly status reports to clients and acted as liaison between clients and our production team. Duties also included managing vendors and staff building.

Senior Graphics Specialist

Assisted the Marketing Manager in creating and establishing the Enterprise Mobility brand for Symbol Technologies. Developed and packaged positioning tools including messaging and branding, and providing creative input and suggestions on how to best implement the approved Symbol Technologies style to conform to the new Editorial Guidelines to guarantee a consistent delivery of message. Worked in a fast-paced team environment and handled multiple projects simultaneously. Produced high-end PowerPoint presentations and print materials for the CEO and top executives. Responsible for running the "War Room" and produced multimedia and presentation content for multi-million dollar partner and sales conferences. Managed the production team of up to 10 people accountable for supporting event messaging platform, collateral, and general and breakout sessions with visual representation. Duties also included managing vendors, weekly status reports, staff building and identifying the needs throughout the company.

Managed a studio between five and ten artists for this fast-paced creative legal consulting firm, which produces high-end courtroom graphics designed to educate judge and jury. Personally responsible for storyboarding, producing animations, and designing overall exhibits using Photoshop, Illustrator, Power Point and Flash. Attended client meetings with law firms and translated complex information for use as exhibits to be prepared by the production team. Filled in for the Graphics Director when he was unavailable. Managed staffing, scheduling, training and mentoring for temporary and full-time designers and production artists for day and night shifts. Duties also included managing vendors and weekly status reports, maintaining various records, logs and general troubleshooting.

Additional Honors & Awards

Awarded the prestigious DOD Challenge Coin from the Pentagon (US ARMY) for a presentation on how RFID technologies could save the lives of soldiers in combat. The presentation was presented to the Senate and Congress as well as the Pentagon.
